Welcome to Shepherd AS (“Shepherd,” “we,” “us,” “our”) product offerings (the “Shepherd Product”) or general marketing and recruiting website (the “Website”). This Privacy Policy is intended to assist users to understand how we collect, use, disclose, and protect the information we receive from users of the Shepherd Product and Website, including users in the European Economic Area (“EEA”) (collectively, “you” or “user”). This Privacy Policy applies to the Shepherd Product and the Website, which includes www.meetshepherd.com, its’ subdomains, all of the websites and internet properties owned or operated by us, regardless of the medium in which the Website is accessed by a user (e.g., computer browser, mobile browser, plug-in, extensions, etc.), and all activities, services, features, or resources offered by Shepherd.

Account and Personal Information

We collect personal information to provide the information or services requested by users. “Personal Information” refers to any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person who is the subject of the information. Personal Information may include, but is not limited to, your first and last name, email address, telephone number, address, IP address, financial information, and any other personal or preference information that you provide to us.

When you use and navigate the Shepherd Product or Website, we may collect additional information from you that may not, by itself, reasonably identify you as the source (“Usage Information”). Usage Information may include, without limitation, the type of computer you are using, the type of internet browser you are using, the location from which you are using the Shepherd Product or visiting the Website, the type of computer operating system you are using with the Shepherd Product or to visit the Website, the domain name of the website from which you linked to the Website, the internet service provider utilized, or the areas of the Shepherd Product or Website you visited and the actions you performed. We will take reasonable measures to ensure that the Usage Information we collect is not personally identifiable and may not later be easily used to identify you as otherwise required by applicable law.

Information About Your Accounts on Third-Party Services

Shepherd provides the ability to log in to the Shepherd Product using your Google or Microsoft account. If you authenticate yourself using any of these services, you grant us access to your email address, and, if available, your name, photo, and username associated with them. We do not receive your password. You will also grant us access to view events on all calendars you have access to in Google Calendar and to view your calendars in Google Calendar.

Children Under 13

We do not market to and do not knowingly collect, any Personal Information from or about a child under the age of 13 without the consent of the child’s parent or legal guardian. If we discover that we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13 years of age through the Shepherd Product or Website, we will promptly take all reasonable measures to delete that data from our systems.

When you visit the Shepherd Product or Website, we may collect Personal Information you voluntarily provide to us.

Cookies

We store certain information, including Usage Information, from your browser using “cookies.” Cookies are small text files that are stored on a user’s computer hard drive.
